Posting on City Talk

1) Mrs. Byerly, she works as a project manager for Eaton Rapids.
2) The city upgraded our system by putting in two parking lots as a filter because as all the rain water flows in the parking lot it goes through a rain garden where the water is filtered. All the construction that has been going on is the help make our river clearer by giving us a new sewage system.
3.) These will help our river water by not allowing chemicals and other things into our water. Like if little particles fall into the streets and end up in the water, it can get in our water system
4) Since our group was responsible for the temperature of the river I don't think it will really be effected by the new improvements in our city. Im sure that many of the other tests our classmates did will have a big effect though because there will be a lot less pollutants in the water.
5) I thought the parking lots were interesting because i assumed they were just used for parking cars, then she explained how else they were used. And I never knew that particles from cars got into our water and dirtied our water supply, which was a good thing for the parking lots.
6) Our biobottle are going well, lots of growth from each bottle. My biobottle is the one with the plastic in the system, and ist still to manage to have exponential growth.
7) Our action plan is a competition to get recycling started at McDonald's and Burger King.
8) Our powerpoint is going well, we have the good things about how Burger King and Mcdonald's recycles presently, and ways they could improve that. Also the things that they're doing that is effecting our ecosystem and community badly.
